It’s time for the June Meet-up! Join us for snacks and drinks and meet your tribe of hackers, makers, health professionals and anyone who wants to put their skills to making a difference.

Have you been in a situation where you’ve had to design solutions that support multiple healthcare workflows and addresses specific user needs? Implementation of tech in healthcare settings can be challenging due to time pressures on clinicians, physicians, and researchers, and their domain-specific needs. Mirabella Olszewski will be joining us June 8th to talk about the importance of user experience (UX) design in meeting these unique healthcare challenges.

Mirabella is a UX Designer at the University of Michigan Cancer Center Informatics core. She analyzes workflows, recommends center-wide solutions, and develops user-centered interfaces to support cancer research efforts.

As always we’ll have snacks and drinks and will brainstorm with you around new healthcare solutions…. this time around UX design and implementation in hospital settings.

This is the last meet-up before our annual, all-weekend hackathon at the end of June. Bring a friend, and get ready and excited!
